We will identify and locate guitars and gear based on your needs and preferences. The primary sources include reliable sellers, auctions and private collections. Provenance will play a critical role – no guitar or piece of gear will be purchased indiscriminately. As needed, a member of dB will inspect guitars prior to purchase. There is no substitute for holding the instrument in your hands to see how it performs. In addition to the tone, the feel and playability are incredibly important. Tell us about your preferences and we will find it for you. No two guitars are created equal, even the same model made by the same people.
Acquisitions
If you are looking to have a custom guitar made, we are happy to help walk you through the process. We have gotten to know a number of the world’s top builders. Depending on what you are looking for, we can connect you with them and help manage as needed.
Custom Guitars
When clients are looking to sell parts of their collection, we will manage the process and present the collection to numerous potential buyers. By leveraging our industry relationships, we can ensure that top profits are realized.
Liquidations
We offer appraisals of our clients' collections for investment, reselling and insurance purposes. Values listed are based on current market data compiled from auction houses, retailers and brokers.
Appraisals
We regularly help manage the collections of our clients. As top guitars become more valuable, it is becoming more important to have the proper systems in place for tracking and storing them. We can conduct a complete physical inventory of a collection and put the guitars into an online database for ongoing maintenance.
Management
In addition to guitars, we can, of course, also help with amplifiers, pedals and anything else gear related!
